I just left my 16" m1 max macbook pro on the charger in my room and went upstairs for a bit to do some reading. Came back down stairs and my room smelt funny like something had burnt. Needless to say I now have a machine that will not turn on. Also out three days of work. This sucks and I wanted to share my misery.
