I have an XS Max and honestly I do feel like sometimes the cellular reception isn't great. Maybe it's the Intel chip, I don't know.

honestly. Had the XS max, the upgraded to the 11 pro max, the reception is definitely much better on the pro max than the XS MAX. MIND you my xs max was unlocked.
id go straight for 11 pro max if I’m gonna upgrade now.
