After the low power mode feature

Would you like to see boost performance mode? (Maybe only while the device is plugged in?)

Personally, I don't think Apple will add this option.

I think a high performance mode might be cool. There could be a disclaimer that by enabling High Performance will decrease battery life or something to that effect.

I believe the reason iOS 9 does better with battery is because they throttle the GPU and CPU to make the phone consume less power, but in doing so, they've kind of crippled the smoothness that the iPhone is usually known for.

I feel like some uneducated people will see the warning about battery life, ignore it, leave it on and then complain about bad battery life.

Yes, it toggles iOS6 back on.

Speaking of iOS 6.... Walmart still has an iPad mini 1 on display with iOS 6 on it and daaaaaaaaaammn it flies!!! It's not even funny. The apps open immediately after the animation is complete. There's absolutely no delays and the animations are perfect 60fps ALWAYS. You kind of forget about that experience after using iOS 7,8 and 9 for so long. You sort of just get used to it.

I will say this though... iOS 6 is UGLY.

I used to think Turbo meant slow for a little while as a kid. That's cos when I pressed the turbo button on the PC everything went slow. Turns out that's cos Turbo was usually always on...
