Have no problem with battery life on my 15PM. I can go 2 days easily from 80%-40%. I'd rather carry a separate battery pack to charge than have the phone 3.5x thicker

I can't think of any circumstance where this would be an overall benefit.

I'm not a power user.. No games, no YouTube, no Facebook, no Instagram, no Whatsapp, no SnapChat, no background app refresh, etc... At midnight shortcuts turn airplane and low power mode on until 8am. I use my phone for forum surfing, phone calls, texting, taking pictures and occasionally a movie. I use my iPad while at home for most everything, IMO the 12.9' screen > 6.7' screen for media consumption
