Phones Xfer sms msgs from IOS to Android

Anyone know the “secret” to transferring sms text from an iPhone to an Android phone ?
im not finding much good information. Transferring everything else is easy, however the text msgs are proving problematic, at least to me.

I used whatever transfer app that Google has on my Pixel 3a XL. That happened when I was setting it up.

Maybe there's some sort of transfer app with your phone?

Samsung phones come with SmartSwitch that will copy from an iphone to android, and Google has their own built in method as well.

What phone are you trying to transfer to?

Smart switch is a samsung app that connects to the iphone, you don't need an ios app for it to work. It treats the iPhone like a computer.
