iPhone XS Max XS Max 512GB shortage?

Ordered XS Max 512GB on September 14th. Latest delivery date = 4th October, so still within the window.
Local Apple store now has plentiful stock of 64GB and 256GB but have had no 512GB for a long time now.
Just wondered if anyone else has been waiting a while for a 512GB phone and / or is seeing supply constraints for this model?

Lack of inventory indicates this. Guess I was one of the lucky ones at 3am.

I think there is just a shortage. I got my max from my carrier after the phone was released. Got the 256GB and there were no issues with stock. The 512GB is sold out in all three colours.
