All this video is showing is apps opening. Of course those should be relatively the same among these devices. The dumbass reviewer should try actually using apps and comparing the performance among them.

Faster? Are we seeing the same thing? Some clicks Max is 1% faster, some 7+ is 2% faster.
"Practically" the same.

You realize the A12 processor is responsible for other actions in the iPhone, Right? You Seem solely focused on opening applications, but what about powering/utilizing Face ID, which is a core component related to the processor performance.

Not really the X’s max was clearly faster loading pics compared to the 7+, but the YouTuber just mentioned they were the same, but they were clearly were not.

So we go from no difference to “practically” the same.

Don’t really buy it, does your YouTube channel need clicks, perhaps you should be more objective next time.

We always see this when new phones come out anyway, remember when the 7 was faster than the 8? That's no longer the case now that we're on iOS 12. Devs have had the time to optimize the OS and apps for the older phones.

Just wait a few months.

I upgraded from 7plus to Xs max and difference in speed is obvious, slow apps will remain slow because of old code inside.
