Unless I am missing something obvious but how do I obtain the UDID on this device.
When using iTunes and clicking on the serial number there is no results for the UDID?

Same here, glad it's not just me. It's not even showing in the Registry as is another way to find it.

There's no iOS 12.1 update for the XS or XS Max yet but I wanted to update my profile on the Waze beta site.

Just use the SEID from Settings // About

Works on XS

Identifies it as an ipod touch though

Weird.. i tried looking for the udid myself. Didn’t find it, but SEID (not EID) worked though. (On two phones).

Couldn’t find anything about the disapperance of UDID on google either..

Could be random. Tried to just install the certificate and try to innstall?

Put my SEID into the Developer Portal and it didn’t recognise it and said it had invalid characters

Installing the profile isn’t the issue but to pickup the developer beta the UDID should be registered.

iFunBox works just fine and shows the UDID, I've just entered it into the Developer portal and it identifies it correctly:

I don’t fancy trying it without knowing the device is registered.
I agree. Not registering on the developer portal and installing a certificate and beta is a sure way to brick your phone. They have the registration page for a reason. I know you can download the certificate without registering, but this is dangerous and you may brick a $1,000 phone.

Well my Max updated itself to 12.1 overnight without the UDID and beta profile being installed on the phone.... how?

It’s working fine

That’s what I though but it’s happened.

Automatic updates are set to on.

I used the latest version 4, went to My Device and under the Serial Number there was an option for Details. I’ll get a screenshot shortly :)

I don’t think I’ve installed the correct application then as I can see any device info
