Dual 30" displays are old hat. Someone get the PCI Express version of the X800 and get 3 of those displays running!
You tell 'em! These newbs and their dual 30" screens, who the hell are they trying to impress huh!?

So, any pics? I love seeing crazy setups too... (of computer systems, not your reproductive systems.)

Pity me then, Lacero

I feel pity for those that paid $3999 for the 22" Cinema Display several years ago.

Oh, you had to remind me, didn't you? Oh well, it's less painful since I was able to buy it with a bonus I got from work.

P.S. And I'm using my pricey 22" as we speak...

I don't know. They could even add a second X800 for a 4th 30" screen and also have 2 22" screens available due to the ADC-out on the X800. That would be so much desktop space... I don't know what could possible fill it...

Silly newbs. Must think BIGGER and BETTER all the time!
:D :p

Now the updated 15" and 17" high end Powerbooks can run the 30 " Display! Wished my rev C 15" PB can do the same, but, no dual DVI.

Oh well...

Anyone who bought the rev D 15" or 17" PB considering buying the 30" Display? Please post a pic!

Very nice picture, thanks for posting. I believe you, can see the snack sign. Just hope that the snacks stayed away from the Mac's.

I don't think I can edit any video again, before I have a setup like that... anyting less will feel, well, just too inferior... :D

My 12" iBook suffers from screen envy... :p

Wow, that's nuts! Quite the sale there... but I'm curious, did he stick with the anemic 512MB RAM. What other things did he upgrade (if any). Also, please tell me that he forked over the extra money for the Ultra over the GT...

Also, please tell me that he payed with cash... because that would make him even crazier.
