Your iPhone App's First Quarter Earnings

please anonymously answer this poll concerning the net earnings during its first four months on the App Store of your paid or ad-supported free app.

discussions might include how well (or not so well) your earnings have sustained over the first quarter. how much your earnings have increased if the app became featured, entered the top 100. first hand experience weighing the pros and cons of ad-supported free app's vs. paid apps. if you can/have quite your day job and now make an honest living on iPhone development alone.

I think this poll would be more meaningful if it was for a specific quarter rather than just each app's first quarter. The reason I say this is that my first quarter started at the launch of the App Store in 2008, which is going to skew my earnings waaay up from what they are during a normal 4 month period.
