I feel like I'm being assaulted by the big black header background. Something more subtle would be a lot better IMO.

wow, a default word press theme AND generic apple/mac related post.
There just aren't enough high quality sites like this one now a days.
I used to think the greatest thing about the internet was the fact that anyone could publish to it, hence putting CNN and a 15 year old on the same level.

^^ Nice. If you came here for constructive advice you may have realized your mistake by now.
I think it's a good start too. Do your own thing and don't be afraid to experiment. Provide content that you find useful and let others decide if they want to use your page(s) as a reference.

Great start, and if people Google into it and find answers to their questions, then it is a success.
And I happen to like the Wordpress design.

It looks like a nice site with some good content, one suggestion though, I have a 20" lcd and the black is kind of assulting when you first visit the page. Perhaps a black/grey gradient to make it more appealing?
