I tried searching for any news regarding the change but I have not found anything... Or it could be just another one of A/B testing like many companies do...
Checked Reddit and this is what I found: YouTube homepage is back
It seems that what YouTube announced about 3 months ago, they backtracked, although I have not found an official statement regarding it yet...
Just like one comment on the Reddit thread, I find it weird now the previous behavior is back... I now find it somewhat distracting since I am now again discovering videos I will never tap/click to watch...
I don't really know why they wanted/forced users to enable their watch history to see video recommendations yet I never have watch history enabled and now I am again seeing video recommendations...
I don't really know how I feel about the change/going back to the previous YouTube homepage behavior... What are your thoughts?
