iPad Zebra lines since ios 9.2

Hi

I have an iPad mini 2 and since upgrading to iOS 9.2 I have started to get what I can only describe as a zebra lined effect on a "greyish" screen when I unlock my device.
If I lock and unlock again immediately it normally reverts back but this is rather annoying.
Any advice gratefully accepted.
