I got a 14" MBP M3 Pro last week and I noticed in the corner of the screen there is a silver area on show.

Any ideas what this is at all.

Thanks.

Thanks for the link, I’m not sure it’s exactly the same issue though, it’s not light bleeding through on my one as I can’t see it at all when using it in the evening, or a darker environment etc. I have to turn the screen towards daylight coming in from outside to see it. I guess it should be hidden by the rubber gasket.

From what I can see, the display is not placed correctly into the frame. There is obviously a big gap in the corner. I've seen this issue before, but never that bad. Return it and get a replacement. In time, dirt and lint are going to build up in there and potentially into the display itself.

It’s not a gap its just silver in colour.

Correction it is a gap, oh boy I didn’t even realise, back it goes then.

Had the exact same issue with a Studio Display. No gap though, just a silver spot on the edge of the glass.

If you are still within the 14-day no-questions-asked exchange period,
GO BACK AND EXCHANGE FOR ANOTHER.

Otherwise, you're gonna have to live with it.
