I have by mistake added 2 or 3 words to the dictionary this week. I looked at the file in Library/Spelling/LocalDictionary but they are not there. Can I find them somewhere else so I can remove them?

I have a similar problem, on my Mac the problem is it is "autocorrecting" incorrectly, suggesting the incorrect spelling of many words. Really lame there is no setting like in iOS to reset the dictionary.

If you create a new TextEdit document, type the incorrect word, select the incorrect word, and then control-click the incorrect word does the option to "Unlearn Spelling" not appear at the top of the contextual menu?

It was so fast that I don’t remember what the wrong spelling was!
