Anyone know if AirTags will be available in stores like Best Buy, Target, Walmart on release day?

I had a last minute trip come up. Have to head to a city with no Apple Store, which are trying to offload their stock like it's a plague. Due to the overabundance of inventory Apple created, does anyone know if the big box stores will have these in stock on Friday? Their websites say available for preorder (shipped), but nothing about in-store pick up.
