Interesting to see they rounded up skin heads because they couldn't afford actors.
One thing they omit is that the ad had already run in December 1983 in order to be eligible for the next year's CLIO awards. So the drama over whether they would run it or not and whether it would flop or not seems to be a bit of a memory lapse or dramatization. They obviously had quite a bit of belief in it to know it was award-worthy.
