I wonder how long before the app is removed from the App Store?
At this rate, I can see it happening even next year.

That was where the link pointed to. What is the actual quote? That's not the quote that's being called out.
Actually a lot of them have issue with china and their BS. But there is only so much a mega corp can do. In this case, they have the power to do something, and they will. If apple were to pull out of china entirely it would cut their stock value in half or less. That would not be a fiducially responsible thing to do... even if it would accomplish anything at all.Meanwhile Apple meets with China’s dictator, Xi, and has no issue doing business with a country that places little value on human rights and has an enormous concentration camp filled with Uyghurs.
These mega corporations pandering and faux outrage is beyond parody at this point.
Sadly, you do.Antisemites or advertisers, Elmo. Pick one. You don’t get both.
Please enlighten us on the minority groups who are the primary threat to the West.Uhm... what Musk said is exactly right:
"The ADL unjustly attacks the majority of the West, despite the majority of the West supporting the Jewish people and Israel. This is because they cannot, by their own tenets, criticize the minority groups who are their primary threat.
It is not right and needs to stop."
What the H E double hockey sticks is antisemitic about this comment? This is just another case of the liberal minorities canceling and bullying people who call them out.
He personally "liked" the post as well. That IS an actual endorsement.“It’s the actual truth” is not an endorsement.
Pull the other one. It’s got a bell on it.
I’m agreeing with you.He personally "liked" the post as well. That IS an actual endorsement.
Well, according to Musk — jews. Please enlighten us on the minority groups who are the primary threat to the West.
Yes, my bad. 👍I’m agreeing with you.
X, formally Twitter, whole business model is based on ad revenue. These are just ones we are hearing about, guessing most have pulled out this week. His businesses will be fine without him.
The old Whataboutism argumentWhen free speech doesn't align with your ideals. No mention of Apple's support of China and overseas labor... talk about the pot calling the kettle. This is all about money and virtue signaling and has nothing to do with doing the right thing. Elon was an idiot for doing this, but my point stands.
Except Ford liked Hitler, while Elmo likes people who like Hitler.Sudden extreme financial success does funny things to people. I recently saw a documentary about the founder of Ford. The parallels to EM and Tesla are striking.
Or you could decide you don’t want a racist crank to profit by selling your attention to other racist cranks. You can choose who to follow and who not to.
What's odd about it? Apple did exactly what you suggest. This is very odd.
You can choose who to follow and who not to. If you don’t like what you read then might I suggest you take a look at the company you are keeping.
I think that's exactly what apple just did. This is very odd.
You can choose who to follow and who not to. If you don’t like what you read then might I suggest you take a look at the company you are keeping.
True. But it is also likely that 95% of the people praising Apple in this thread have already seen the kind of stuff Musk does on the daily, so really don't need another example to confirm what they already safely assume. It’s highly probable that 95% of people praising Apple in this thread have little to no idea of what Musk did, or the actual context of it.
Yes, you could decide that. That’s the point.Or you could decide you don’t want a racist crank to profit by selling your attention to other racist cranks.
