Apple TV 2022 Model Remote Battery draining very quickly

I have two Apple TVs - one 2017 model with the older remote and the 2022 model with the newer remote. On one charge the older 2017 model remote's battery is lasting for months. But the battery of the remote of the 2022 model is draining within few weeks. Kindly help me to resolve this problem with the 2022 Apple TV remote.
