Belkin key ring works great with Roku remote

The ring that comes with the Belkin key ring is just the right size to fit through the purple fabric loop on the bottom of a Roku remote.

If so, launching the app or pressing a button on the Roku might be better than dedicating an AirTag and key ring for this.

Heck, it's even cheaper to just buy a replacement remote for $20 and keep it in the drawer ?

We have 7 Roku remotes in the house, and none of them have that feature. I don’t think it’s very common unless you buy a replacement remote.

Does anyone know how to reopen the Belkin Keyring? When it’s time to change the battery?

I see there’s some small etchings in the case, but not sure how to open it easily, I don’t want to break it, lol

It twists open. I stand it upright and push one half while pulling the other
