So....I'm working with our MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015), 12.3.1, and just this afternoon, started getting a whole lot of BlueTooth connection requests like the attached. Have never seen anything like this before.

Only variable has been setting up this computer and my M1 MacBook Air to be able to share files.

Anyone have an idea what's going on? Shall I be paranoid that this is the Russians?

If you are comfortable with your router settings you can always login to it, look at the devices connected to your network and see which one is associated with that MAC address.

Wait…I think these requests are Bluetooth, not WiFi. And why am I suddenly seeing so many when I’ve never before seen a single one?

hi there, wonder if you have found a solution to this problem as I have been receiving dozens of this in a day with various addresses each time. ie. this screenshot shows Connection request from: 70:54:B4:0B:A5:CE but in few minutes it will be a different address. Can't figure out what's going on. Ignoring does not resolve the issue and when getting one every half an hour is driving me crazy. this has been going on pretty much since I bought this new device. Any help will be appreciated. I use MBP M1 16inch 2021. Thank you.
