Nothing like free advertising!

The Reg article states that Charles Dunstone would "like" to hop into bed with apple on this one, so although they've started advertising it, nothing is confirmed. Also, what happens if Vodafone are the network operator, they've already withdrawn their svcs from carphone.

I've also got a feeling that as far as retail presence go Apple will only offer it through the chosen telco's existing outlets and their own apple stores.

I think Apple will go with Orange as they have been in talks with Orange regarding broadband and internet services.

Thought there are strong reasons for others, 3 has a good data network despite the rest of it being crap plus good links in europe!

O2 is a large provider that also supplies Airwave to the police force etc.

I'd like to think it will be on O2 as i have a great package with them and always have year after year!
