Weirdly my google only told me this as i set an alarm for a different time today. for years i wake up with BBC Radio 1, set by saying 'hey google, wake me up every day with music' and then google asks me what time and what to listen to.
today i needed to be up half an hour earlier so 'hey google wake me up tomorrow with music' and it did it, but it also told me that 'in February' Google will no longer allow media to be used as alarms.
from googling, it seems Google is removing 18 different features, claiming it is removing features which arent commonly used, which is clearly a lie as from internet discussion, waking up with the radio is one of the most common uses for a Google Home or Alexa.
I see some people are saying you can still do basically the same thing by using a 'routine' but i dont know what they mean with that.
