Gray Bullets in iPadOS 17.0

I have installed the release version of iPadOS 17.0 on my iPad. I have noticed that the bullets in notes are gray instead of black like the used to be in all previous versions of iPadOS. This is when dark mode is disabled. When in dark mode, the bullets are properly white. I don’t have this problem on my iPhone running iOS 17.0.

is anyone else having this problem?
