Hermès isn't my thing. I mean, it's cool, but far above my salary. Still, I wanted the AirTag for its cool etching.

Anyways, $40 later, here I am. Does this count?

It was a long and boring process, but in short, it comes straight from Apple. It requires you already have an Hermes AirTag, so with my friend's permission, I borrowed his for a week or two. I don't plan to use it, it's still in its little baggie. I just thought it'd be a cool thing to own.

Yes. It would make a great Single Tour. I have the Eperon D’Or band from 2017 and still wear it occasionally. It looks great despite being my daily band for more than 2 years. This would be another band I’d wear frequently.

You have to contact Apple support and give them the serial number for your Hermès AirTag. Tell them you damaged yours and need to replace just the AirTag. They’ll send you one as an express replacement, and put a $40 hold on your card. You’re supposed to send the broken one back but I just didn’t, and let them charge me the $40. It’s still sealed in its bag actually, I still haven’t opened it.

So this happened…. The bottom half of the knob actually fell off a few times but I could always find it in my pocket or nearby. But this time it’s lost

Has anyone else had similar issues and did Apple give you spare parts to fix this? Terribly disappointed for the price

if you have any problems with the Hermès material, you should contact Hermès. from apple they can't do anything. that's what I've always been told about Hermès straps.

Rich people I guess? Even I make six figures, this is not valuable to spend on at all. Really just for show compensation.

So I went into an Apple store for a Genius Bar appointment and they said they don’t stock spare parts and just exchanged the one I have with a brand new one

Finally got a chance to sit down and take some photos of the replacement AirTag. I got the Beton and I absolutely love the leopard print!

Comparing it against the Indigo swift I got at launch, the leather on the latest version is much thicker. The indigo is also showing wear where it connects to the metal ring.

Yeah! Those are my favorite from those released this fall. But I also couldn’t pass up the leapord one and got it a few months ago as well. It’s a great looking airtag!
