I had high hope of iOS 7.1, because Safari tab reloading problem seems much better on my iPad mini and iPad 3. However, iPod Touch is still bit disappointment, Safari still reloads pages even after 2 tabs open and apps refreshing itself even 5 minutes in background.

Yes, I did DFU restore and did not restore

How is Safari tab reloading problem on iPod Touch 5G running iOS 7.1

512 mb RAM. The mini (1st gen) isn't much better, the difference is apparent compared to my iPad 3 which has 1024 mb RAM.

Yeah... I know that.. It is pretty frustrating... Safari reloading page much more frequent compare with iPad mini first gen though... And app seems gets killed as soon as you back to springboard
