I'm Getting Error Message trying to format WD SN850X in an Acasis TBU-405 Pro M1

I just bought and Acasis TBU-405 Pro M1 and a WD SN850X 4TB SSD. I'm Getting an Error Message trying to format the WD SN850X. I ran First Aid on it and it says 'Operation Successful'.

I have a Mac Studio M2 Max running Ventura 13.6.1.

Can it be a problem with the enclosure?

Menu… Disk Utility > View > Show All Devices. Select top most device for your drive and erase.

That's what I did. I keep getting the error.

The drive(WD_BLACK SN850x...) is shown next to the error window.

I chose APFS.

In screenshot, you have Show Only Volumes selected in the View menu. If you had Show All Devices selected, the top most "Internal" Macintosh HD would be a disk, not a volume. One can only lead the horse to water...

After that I did what you had suggested: Menu… Disk Utility > View > Show All Devices. Select top most device for your drive and erase. This did not work. I got the same error.

Select highlighted and then format drive. If APFS fails then try MacOS Extended Journal and then APFS after.

I tried all of this. I sent the SSD back today for a refund. I'll get another one.
