Hello,

I recently updated an iPhone 4 GSM to iOS 7 (7.0.2 specifically) and it has said "No Service" for about three days straight. I'm in an area which has good reception so this is not normal.

I have reset all settings, reset network settings, fresh install of iOS 7, tried(and failed) to rollback to iOS 6.1.3, turned off Cellular Data, turned off 3G, and turned off automatic carrier selection(nothing appears when it's turned off).

Basically I have an iPod right now, can anybody suggest any fixes?

Cheers

Does the sim match the carrier lock on the phone or is it sim free?

I'm having this issue with my 7+. It will go from no service to E to 4G to LTE sporadically. And when it's on 4G or LTE apps won't load correctly. I've restored the phone, they've switched towers, and installed a new SIM, and no resolution. The only tome my phone works consistently is on Wifi. My carrier (T-Mobile) is sending me a new phone tomorrow, I pray it woks correctly.
