does anyone know what would happen if an old iPad 2 on 7.0.2 installs the 8.4 update?

And then would it notify me to download 9?

I'm terribly confused because the signing stopped for 9, and 8 was a wreck... and I don't want to test out what happens if I update.

Thank you

I would suggest for you to stay at 7 since 8 and 9 made my ipad 3rd gen a lot slower.

And also I dont think you can jump to 8.4 bu I am not sure.

Thanks for responding. I can't download some apps I want too, which is why I want to update.... but only if I can get iOS 9.

I believe you on the slowdown, though.
