Hi all,

I have an old iPad Air 4 that has a faulty SIM card slot; for some reason, it is not reading SIMs anymore. As such, I've had to use an eSIM, so it's not a big issue.

However, it also seems that my Touch ID stopped working a few days ago.

Do you think it's worth repairing for $519 CAD? Should I just opt to buy a new iPad? The faulty iPad is a 64 GB iPad Air 4.

Thanks.

Personally, I’d just use that money towards M-series chipset iPad Air or Pro (either on sale or refurb).
