I have screen time set up for my young early teen daughter. It works about as I expect, except for certain apps, namely snapchat. My daughter is the brightest most beautiful student of them all, but I don't think she has skill necessary to install some clandestine app to remove app limits, especially one that can persist across a full factory reset of her iphone. After I tried said reset and installed snapchat and fiddled and turned off and on all kinds of settings including app limits and screen time itself, I have been able to use snapchat on her phone continuously for well beyond the app limit time. Other apps give me the expected screen time warning modal.
Is there anyone for whom screen time is working on snapchat? I've noticed via other posts that tiktok and maybe other apps are also not being limited according to screen time parameters.
