I know that you can get apps for free and other features from Cydia that you normally can't get but I've also heard that Installous and Cydia take up a lot of memory RAM and therefore your iTouch's performance would be slower!
So can anyone tell me if this is true and if it's worth it to jailbreak my iTouch?

Thanks! :D

I only jailbroke my 4G iPod Touch so that I could enable HDR picture taking and I have not noticed any degradation in battery life or performance since jailbreaking.
