Jailbreak questions!!!! Please help!!!

Ok, so I just jailbroke my ipod touch 4th generation iOS 4.2.1 with greenpois0n and I installed cydia. After this I open up cydia and then it said "initiating file systems". after this happens it usually crashes and then goes to the lock screen. I was wondering what I can do to fix this.
