Hello,

I have a program which requires java but there seems to be something wrong with my java installation on one of my macs. My understanding is Java for Snow Leopard is from Apple where as all java from Lion onwards is directly from Oracle.

Is it possible to uninstall and reinstall java on Snow Leopard? It is working on one of my macs running SL but not the other. How do I go about doing this and where do I download the correct java for SL.

Thanks

Finally got java reinstalled and working.
I had to delete the java folder in both locations before it worked - library and system. I was only deleting one of them, which was why the reinstall wasn't working.
I then downloaded Java from apple support page.
