Saw this online and thought it looked promising for the old iMacs. Tried it first on my play-around pc laptop, and it seemed quite good. Tried the ealier (Win 10-alike) version on the iMac 8,1, just to the live desktop, and it looked good. Absolutely no joy of any sort on the 10,1.
One of the reasons, when I started paying proper attention, was that the install USB was formatted NTFS. This did not faze the older machine, but the newer one didn't want to play at all.
Anyone else tried it?

There's an earlier version based on Windows 10, and my new-to-me-today iMac 12,1 boots that fine, to a live desktop.
