Resolved Lost iphone

Lost my iPhone XS, I thought they all have "find my iPhone" installed on the devices but apparently not, as I understand now the app has to be downloaded to the device.

My question is can I erase my phone from my iMac and iTunes account or some other way, if so how?

It needs to be enabled in settings.

Find My app and the iOS setting itself are not the same.

Have you logged into iCloud.com and checked the Find My app there?

No, I'm going to try to see if I can get that app in iCloud now.

SUCCESS!!!!!!
Got to the "find My iPhone" app on iCloud.com as you suggested and it pinged my phone a few miles down the road right at a sharp turn and there it was.
cracked screen but still operational.
