M3 pro 11 core 36gb ram or 12 core

Im going to buy a refurbished mac is it better to buy m3 pro 11c with 36gb ram or 12c with 36gb as well im buying it for ios development btw i want to ask also buying refurbished mac is a good option or should i buy a brand new with m3 pro 12c and 18gb ram??

Refurbs are great, if you can find the exact spec you're after. Don't waste money on new if the same machine.

I'd bet that unless you use a stopwatch you won't notice a difference between 11 and 12 CPU cores. The smaller CPU is equally fast for all tasks that use up to 5 cores, and not that much slower beyond that point.

Refurbished with 36GB of unified memory. Doesn't matter if it's 11c or 12c.
