I burned the installer using transmac on PC to a DVD+R DL. When I inserted the CD in the drive, the macbook read it and it showed on the desktop. Somehow, it clearly shows that the CD is not really broken. I opened the installer icon and clicked the restart button. But when it booted through the CD, it is stuck at the apple logo. I've been waiting for like, an hour I think. I really frustrated with this one. Can anyone help me? :(

BTW, I'm using a white macbook 2,1 (mid 2007, I guess) with an upgraded RAM memory of Transcend 2GB.

Thanks for the help guys :)

Since you didn't say where you got the image you used to make the DVD, it's possible you got a system restore image that came with a different Mac. System Restore Discs only work for the Mac they came with.
