MS 14,14 Mac Studio M2 Ultra abruptly shuts down when waking from a night of sleep

My M2 Ultra shuts down after trying to wake it from a night of sleep. Reinstalling Ventura and even upgrading to Sonoma did nothing to stop the sleep issue. I ran the hardware diagnostics and no problems were reported. Attached is the Etresoft log and the last few moments from the Terminal Log before shutdown.

I will reply to my own thread for others looking for a possible roundabout solution (provided in another forum):

"Computer sleep does not function properly in the lastest macOS versions.

Turn on 'Prevent automatic sleeping when display is off' and only allow the display to turn off."
