I have been using macOS for over a decade and never had such an issue before. I got a M1 Max MBP around launch and it has been working really good since day 1 but recently I noticed an issue with the Mail app.
If I leave my MBP on for >24h which I do all the time as I never shut it down or reboot it. It goes to sleep. I noticed the Mail app starts to slow down and navigating folders in my mailbox could take full minutes to load the emails in them.
This only started happening recently and I am not sure what to do to fix it. It is incredibly annoying and forces me to restart almost on daily basis. I tried rebuilding the database in Mail app. I deleted the two accounts and re-added them and it is not fixing it. I am really trying to avoid a full system reinstall.
