Monitor for Xbox gaming

My friend has asked me what monitor he should buy his son for gaming with his Xbox.

He’s 11 and they want a mid range one that will handle any future 4k gaming. He’s currently just on a Xbox one.

I’ve had a Google but find it all a bit too confusing as so many options out there.

Any recommendations.. was thinking £300-£500.

Gaming monitors are a mess. Majority of them are 1080p or 1440. 4k ones have come down in price but they are 27 inches which can be too big or clumsy depending on the size of your desk. If you play FPS it can even be more tiring to pan your eyes across a big screen than a small one. Basically almost every monitor is a compromise.

I think the below monitor is a sweet spot. 1440p, 24 inches, tilt+height adjustability, audio jack for speakers and at a reasonable.
