Resolved New iPhone vs iPhone 13

My mother contacted me yesterday wanting help choosing a new iPhone. I told her about Tuesday’s upcoming event and convinced her to wait, but now I’m rethinking it. Quite obviously, my mother isn’t a technie; she doesn’t care about getting the newest thing, and I understand that not a ton of upgrades are expected. If she buys a phone today or before the new phones come out, will she save any money? Or should she try to buy the current phone after the 13 comes out?

Any help would be appreciated.

Tomorrow after the introduction of new devices you at least know the new products and what old ones may stick around at a lower price.

If it was me, I’d always wait. My mother is more impatient and less understanding about the new and latest. (I believe she’s still rocking an iPhone 6 plus.)
