I would love to post a photo of my machine here but for the life of me cannot figure out how!

Here's one way:

1. Select the photo you want in iPhoto / Photos.

2. Export it at reduced file size (I usually choose medium) to a folder on your desktop.

3. Click on reply as usual when making a post on the forum.

4. Click this, below:

5. Select the appropriate folder and click on the photo you want to upload.

6. Click on "Full Image" to include the photo in the body of your post (or thumbnail to leave it as a small image below).

7. Click "post reply" as usual……

Put my motorcycle into a workshop for servicing and repairs to the front suspension over a week ago. Went back the next day to find it closed and no sign of anyone there since. It might be small (100cc) old (18 years, 240,000 km) and not worth much (paid about $500 for it 12 years ago), but it runs fine and is the only motor vehicle I own.

Got myself this (Harley Sporster 2015 1200cc) at the start of summer, big change from my previous Yamaha Zuma 50cc :p

I took off the windshield (I put it on for long highway ride, leave it off for city transit) and it look much better without it!

Nothing flash, but this Honda CB125R (designed and manufactured in India) fits my requirement for cheap, easy to maintain, reliable transport.

Bought new about mid January 2024, when my 2020 Honda PCX looked likely to take some time to get sorted, and is still not done. NZ Honda motorcycle importer, Blue Wing Honda, has not seen fit to stock parts for routine maintenance to the drive-belt and variator clutches after 65,000 km on the road. Still awaiting parts to be delivered from Thailand (now mid April).

Have come to like the wee CB125F, which cost $3850 ($US 2300) new on the road. Gets better than 140 mpg (US). At about 118 kg wet (260 pounds), it is great for towns and byways, and it handles gravel roads with aplomb. Tops out at a bit above 65mph, but easily reaches and sustains 55 or so on highways; plenty fast enough for NZ roads where I am at. Has turned out to be quite comfortable on long trips..... I have already done about 4,500 miles on it..... doing about 350 miles between 2.5 gallon refills.
