iPad Proxy on 3G

How can I use HTTP or HTTPS proxy in iOS 6. I've seen that it is possible to configure a proxy with the WLAN settings in the iPad. but I am wondering whether it is also possible to have proxy for mobile data connection.
My proxy also needs username and password for login.

Unfortunately, the only way to do so is to set up a virtual private network on a computer that is connected to a proxy, then log in to that VPN on your iPad.
