Hello all,

Since day one I noticed a very rare and difficult to reproduce behavior with my iPhone 15 Pro, but I have no idea if it is phone or iOS related.

The thing happens generally when my phone has not been used for a moment, when I grab it and either tap to wake or raise to wake the screen lights up, then immediately flickers like turning black again and lights up again.
All this happens in a fraction but the flickering is clearly visible.

It is going on since iOS 17.0.
I will try to disable raise to wake to see if there is a bug link to this.

Have anyone experienced this too ?

Just saw that it is doing the same on my iPad Pro too, so I guess this is a new "feature" from iOS/iPadOS 17 ;)

I noticed this, have you got widgets on the home screen? I think if you wake your phone and it can't recognise your face, it stays grey, but then when it detects your face, it switches to white. This gives off that flicker effect when it happens very quickly. Test it by covering your face ID camera when waking the phone.
