Hi, this maybe something for forum software communities, but I will try out my luck here, any help is much appreciated.

One thing I have noticed recently is the number of views of threads in communities are very high. For popular sites like MacRumors, it may be difficult to work out how accurate the figures are, but I have worked with many smaller communities, and even on those sites the view count is very high.

However, these sites do get a lot of spam, so I am assuming spammers whether human or robots make up a lot of these views.

Is there any way to distinguish between human and computer views? or even spammers in general? and does the view counts include guests too?
