Unable to capture kext logs in kernel.log 10.6 (Snow Leopard)

I have put TRACE prints in my Wireless.kext but i am unable to find logs in /var/log/kernel.log.
Few of the logs are coming but many logs being skipped.

Wanted to know if we can increase the buffer size of kernel.log or if I can redirect the logs using tee command.

Any help would be highly appreciated as I am blocked.
