Hello,

I do short wave listening, and presently am taking the
raw audio from my sw receiver, into a cheap analog to digital converter, and the USB output
from that into my iMac.

Am playing with Google Translate, via the above setup.

Works. Sorta.

What I would like to try is a direct analog audio input into the iMac using the mac's buit in mic.
Apparently it is that very, very small dot on the top to the screen.

I would like to find a very, very, small speaker that I can mount next to (actually onto) the mic input (dot).
Would really have to be super-small, as I don't want to disturb everyone in the room.

Can't find any.

Any suggestions woud be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

Even if you found one I doubt it would work as good as your current solution. Canibalising a pair of cheap earbuds might work. It's never going to work as well as the wired connection you already use.
