    Slow Boot Even w/ Thunderbolt 3/NVMe APFS Drives?

    It's a pretty common issue to have slow boot times now with external ssds connected with USB 3 or USB-C, but does this problem still exist with TB3 NVMe external drives (such as a Samsung X5)?

    iPad Long Boot Time

    My 10.5 iPad Pro now takes 35 seconds to boot from the start of the Apple logo to the login details. I just had a chat with Apple support who seemed to think this was normal and “might get sorted out with the next update” Is anyone else noticing longer boot time with IOS 12?

    iPad Pro 10.5 startup time

    What's going on in iOS 11.4 ? My iPad Pro 10.5 needs 2-3 times longer time to start compared to previous version. EDIT: The boot time of iPhone 7 didn't change.
