Which stylus for iPad 12.9 2nd generation?

I am going to add a stylus to my iPad Pro 12.9 2nd generation - but can't figure out which one to get. Other than the original Apple Pencil, what other options do I have. Or is it best to go with the 1st gen Apple Pencil? Thanks for your advice.

Resolved Issues with iPad & Adonit Note Pen

I bought the Adonit Note stylus based on Dan's review on MacRumors. It arrived yesterday, and it is not working as expected on my iPad. The ink is skipping (creating gaps) and lagging behind the pen. My iPad model is A1893. My OS version is 12.1.4. I am using a glass screen protector from...

    Stylus questions

Last Autumn, I bought a Wacom Bamboo Duo stylus. I wanted a writing pen I could carry that looked reasonably solid and durable and one that had a good solid rubber tip for smartphone and iPad operation. Today, my fairly expensive pen broke. The clip on the cap broke off. This caps several...

iPad 9.7 rugged case but can use stylus

Hello All, Wondering if you could help. I have had a few rugged cases, dust and water resistant/proof etc. But none of them let me use a standard stylus with them. I work outdoors, I have the older 9.7 ipad, so no pencil, but all the cases I use outdoors, the screen protectors don't let me...

Apple pencil effect on touch screen

Hi, am thinking of getting an apple pencil but can anyone tell me the long term effects of using a stylus on a touch screen? If the amount of use eventually wears out the touch screen, would using stylus significantly reduce the touch screen life even more? I would be using it as a hobby not...

Active stylus stopped working on iPad but still works on Android devices

I have a Heiyo Amber stylus, which is sort of a cross between an active and a passive stylus in that it is powered but doesn’t require any additional software or a Bluetooth connection to the device. In the Amazon listing for the item it specifies that it is compatible only with iOS devices...

Stylus Disc Stuck in The Cap

Hello guys, I have this Adonit Jot Mini 3.0 stylus. You know, the stylus with transparent-disc-tip. Unfortunately, the disc stucked in the surface of the stylus cap when I'm about to use it. I've browsed the net to no avail of how to remove the disc from the cap surface. Please, any ideas how to...

    iPad Stylus for note-taking

Hello, I am new to this forum and do not know if I am writing at the right place. Sorry if I'm not. I was wondering if someone could help me figure out the stylus to use on an Ipad. I know the Apple pencil exists but I would like to see if there's alternatives. I am looking for a stylus...

Stylus for OLDER iPad (not PRO)

I use iAnnotate on an iPad Mini. My current stylus works a bit like a fat crayon. Is there a FINE TIP stylus that works well with iAnnotate? I'm OK with one of the battery powered "smart" pens, but I don't think they work on the Mini I have. Is there a basic stylus with a FINE point?

All iPads Wacom would go out of business with universal pencil support.

I think this is a thread that most fellow artist will relate to. With this your will understand why the pencil is such a big deal. For those non artist wacom is a company that creates drawing tablets and the preferred tool maker for digital artists. Google any piece of digital art and odds are...
